Joel Waters was born and raised in Northwestern Iowa where he learned the values of hard work and friendship. Joel received his degree from Mississippi State University with an emphasis in Professional Golf Management in 2000 and received his PGA Member card the same year. Joel's previous experience before coming to the Fremont Golf Club was in Alabama at the NorthRiver Yacht Club where he was first an assistant golf professional and then the head golf professional for over 5 years. He moved to the Fremont area and took over as the Head Golf Pro in February of 2006. His responsibilities include organizing and coordinating the different tournaments and leagues that FGC offers to offering golf lessons to overseeing the day to day operations of the pro shop.
Bob Parks has been a member of the Fremont Golf Club since 1970. He has served on the Board of Directors and was Chairman of the Rawhide Rumble, a member-guest tournament, for four years. In September of 2005, the Board of Directors asked Bob to take over as General Manager. Bob has brought new enthusiasm to our Club. We have added many new members and have increased participation by our existing members. Bob's title is really M & M, which stands for Member-Manager. Bob enjoys the Club just like all of our members and participates in as many of the events that he can.
